Paul Bunyon, a 24-pound feline for adoption.

Paul Bunyon is 24 pounds of personality and eccentricity. 

He is a stunningly handsome Abyssinian mix with ticked coloring and jewel-green eyes, neutered boy, 5 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Paul Bunyon is picky about people and other cats.  If he favors you (and he tends to like tall people), he showers you with love.  And if you are not to his liking, unfortunately, he feels it his duty to let you know. 

Paul Bunyon needs an experienced, adult home and a safe, slow weight loss plan under veterinary guidance.

I felt worthless and isolated.

Feeling unloved for so long, Joy is desperate for attention and kind words of reassurance. 

Her previous owner reportedly banished her to living only in the backyard, alone, which is unacceptable on many levels. 

But now shaved and groomed, and spayed, Joy is ready to find out what a loving home feels like.

Anessa

Anessa is a captivating, well-behaved girl who adores people and gets along beautifully with other dogs.

Anessa is a lovely Labrador Retriever mix, spayed, 7 years of age, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. 

I was hungry, scared, and pleading for help.

Captain was reportedly sleeping under cars at an apartment complex after his previous owner moved away and just set him loose to fend for himself. 

For several days Captain approached people for help, to no avail. 

The caring person who finally helped him said he ran up to her and flipped himself on his back, belly up, to demand her attention and plead for care. 

Captain is now cleaned up and eating premium food.  He is an affectionate, cute Terrier & Toy mix, neutered boy, 2 years young, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Lasso likes those around her to be happy and pleased, so she does all she can to bring you joy. 

She is a lively, very good-natured young girl debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Lasso is a wonderfully unique Heinz, perhaps with Border Collie & Corgi (she has short legs and a long body), spayed, 1 year young, great with other dogs. 

Another shelter asked us to rescue her because of a cherry eye condition on her right eye.  We had this repaired and she has recovered well. 

Please help us find Lasso a loving, forever home.

Clarissa wants off of the merry-go-around of being repeatedly discarded.

Clarissa is only 2 years of age, but we discovered that she has already been handed away to new families at least four times. 

This merry-go-round, hand-me-around nonsense needs to stop so that this sweet young girl can enjoy being a member of a loving, forever home.
