Hulk and Tugboat are adorable, playful baby brothers with loving, kind spirits.

The boys are reportedly Schnauzer & Maltese mixes, about 5 months of age.  They are now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Hulk and Tugboat needed us because their previous owner said she "could not get rid of" them.

Please plan on regular professional grooming and puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

The boys can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship.

Dymin, a petite and young Maltese who wants to be the center of your world.

Dymin needed us when one of her owners passed away and the other became too ill to care for her any further.

Dymin is a gorgeous Maltese, very affectionate and loving (with adults), spayed, housetrained, about 3 years of age.

Her previous owner admitted to spoiling her on an extreme level, perhaps causing some eccentricities and behavior issues.  For example, Dymin won't eat her kibble unless you mix in warm water to soften it up.  (She has a special diet for food allergies.)  Also, she won't tolerate kids or large dogs.  Apparently, she was previously attacked by a large dog, so if she sees a large dog she tries for a preemptive attack first.

Dymin loves to be in your lap and she is used to nearly constant attention.  We believe she will do best in a home where her guardian(s) are home most of the time, and willing and able to devote lots of adoration to her.  Please also plan and budget for regular professional grooming care.

Why did they mess with perfection?

Wisteria was naturally perfect, the way God intended her, yet someone dyed her ears and tail purple. It's a real shame because it will take months for the dye to come out. 

Worse, her previous owner was breeding her for puppies and she was found with no sign of responsible ownership (no tags or microchip ID). 

Wisteria deserves better, and with your help we'll find her an amazing home.

Hula Hoop is a Malti-Poo puppy yearning for love.

Hula Hoop earns her name with her excitable, wiggly dance! 

She is a precious Malti-Poo puppy (Maltese & Toy Poodle), spayed girl, 3 months of age, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

At the time of rescue she was very sick with the deadly parvo virus.  We had extensive medical care provided for her and she triumphantly made a full recovery!

Lullaby is an angelic young Maltese who survived a big dog attack. She is now ready for adoption.

This precious angel triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Lullaby is a loving, adorable Maltese, spayed girl, one year young.  Please plan on regular professional grooming care and budget accordingly. She is good with people and small dogs.

At the time of rescue Lullaby had been attacked and shook by a bigger dog. Her puncture wounds have now healed and she is ready to join a gentle, forever home.

Our mother dug a hole in the ground to keep us from freezing.

Update: All three have been adopted!

Dandy and his sisters (Iris, Pansy, and Petunia) are nicknamed "Flower Children" and they are the baby angels of Daisy, their mom, who was previously featured on this site and adopted last month.

They are Maltese mixes, spayed/neutered, about 4 months of age, ready for adoption today.

The Flower Children are the surviving 4 puppies from an extremely neglectful previous home.  Daisy was banished to living outdoors in the winter cold.  She dug a hole to try and save her newborn babies, but 3 of her 7 pups "froze to death".

The Flower Children are precious, loving, tender-hearted angels.

They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.

Update: Daisy was adopted on February 25th!

The plight of this angel ripped our hearts out.  We are blessed to have her (and her surviving pups) here at Nevada SPCA, safe now, and ever-after (once adopted into a loving forever home), so she (and the pups too) can be shown the kinder side of human nature.

Daisy is a Maltese mix with ethereal hazel eyes, spayed girl, about 18 months of age.

At the time of rescue she was in a filthy, wet backyard with her 4 newborn puppies.  Forced to live outside, she had dug a large hole in the ground to try and keep her puppies warm.  But her previous owner said 3 of her original 7 babies had "froze to death".  When questioned why he had acted so cruelly and neglectfully, he said he "didn't want no babies" and that when he took Daisy from a friend he did not know she was pregnant.

Daisy's babies are doing well here and they will be available for adoption in the weeks to come.  Now that Daisy has been spayed she is ready for adoption.

Daisy longs for loving attention and reassurance.  Please plan on regular professional grooming care to keep her looking and feeling good.

I do not like to be alone.

Scruffy is a frisky, social young boy, as adorable as they come with a loving nature.

He is reportedly a "Morkie" -- a Maltese & Yorkshire Terrier mix.  He is neutered, about 3 years of age, debuting for adoption today.

Scruffy needed us when his previous owner became too ill to care for him. 

He is great with other sweet dogs and needs regular professional grooming care.  He is reportedly housetrained, but only with a doggie door and may otherwise have accidents, so your patience and guidance may be needed.

Also, Scruffy reportedly has separation anxiety and gets distressed when you leave even for short periods of time.  An experienced owner is needed to help curb this anxiety, and while there are no instant fixes, in time as he feels more secure his anxiety will diminish.
