Tatay's Bday Celebration

During Tatay's birthday I make sure that we send a little amount. This year, I told them to buy a cake for him and give him cash too. Tatay always appreciates these little things.

As it turned out, Tatay had a good party. They bought a cake and few balloons and they roast a pig.

The kids enjoyed the party because of the cake and the balloons. It was a party that we wish we were there to celebrate.

Filipinos and Parties

Filipinos are known for celebrating a lot of events such as birthdays, anniversaries, christenings or even holidays such as Christmas and New Year. With the recently concluded Chinese New Year, I’m sure my relatives in the Philippines had a blast.

In every celebration, it is almost always guaranteed that the table would be overflowing with food. From rice, to different kinds of bread and pasta, you’ll never lack in fiber and carbohydrates. Apart from that is a variety of chicken, pork, beef and seafood dishes. But that’s not all, there is sure to be something grilled too, fish, pork, chicken, or squid. One can never go wrong with partying because you will surely find something you can eat whether you are a vegetarian or a meat lover.

Party Giveaway

We are excited because tomorrow Andrea will have her 3rd birthday party. It won't really be a big party, it is just something small where she can blow her birthday cake and we can sing "happy birthday" to her. Kids birthday are always fun and as much as possible we wanted to give our daughter a party in celebration of her birthday because we believe that it is important for a child to have her friends and celebrate their birthday with them.

I have planned to prepare some food and giveaways for tomorrow's party. Obviously, I will have a bag of candies for the kids (and adults too, if they want). I think the bag of candies are what the kids look forward to as they can always have an excuse to eat more than they are allowed to.

I hope the weather will cooperate tomorrow and it won't be too cold so that visitors and guests will come and party with us. You are all invited to party with us in celebration of Andrea's 3rd birthday! See you there!
