Rooster & Lady Bear, soul-mates.
The radiant, cheerful smiles from this good-looking pair will greet you when you return home every day.
Rooster & Lady Bear (the names they came in with) are strongly bonded and need to remain together forever.
They needed us when their previous owners lost their home. Neither dog did anything wrong.
Rooster is a male Siberian Husky of about 8 years. Lady Bear is a German Shepherd mix and 7 years. Both are spayed/neutered and reportedly housetrained.
Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for the pair by name.

Can I share my gentle soul with you?
Hyacinth's affection for people is illustrated well in how she likes to follow you, hopping from room to room. (Please use baby gates to keep her away from electrical cords.)
Hyacinth is a beautiful young Mini Rex with the softest coat and sweetest personality. She is now spayed, about 18 months of age, and ready for adoption in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room.
Hyacinth was rescued from an abandoned, foreclosed home.
Her lovely portrait is courtesy of the wonderful people at Pet'ographique.
Madame Butterfly, a Violet Point Siamese for adoption.
She looks up at us in gratitude, seemingly full of hope that her future will be brighter than her past.
Madame Butterfly is a Violet Point Siamese, spayed, about 10 years of age, previously declawed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
Madame Butterfly had been abandoned in a foreclosed home and found in a very poor, neglected condition. We had her severe matts shaved away and expect her coat to grow back beautifully now that she's eating premium food.

Tomas, a radiant, golden boy for adoption.
Tomas is a lustrous boy who glows with kindness and goodwill.
He is a very attractive blend of Golden Retriever & Chow Chow and he is neutered and about 4 years of age. Tomas is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door) and good with dogs and mature kids.
Though shy with strangers, Tomas is warm-hearted with those he knows and trusts.
He needed us when his previous owners lost the family home to foreclosure.
Please come meet Tomas!

Celine's heartbreaking story will have a happy ending.
Celine relishes being cradled and reassured.
She is 12 years of age, a very gentle calico, and her world turned upside down when her previous owners abandoned their foreclosed home and left her behind in the neighborhood to fend for herself. At the time of rescue she had returned to the home, entered through the doggie door, and was attacked by two dogs (owned by the home's new owners). She is recovering well from the wounds, including a large cut under her left eye, but her heart is shattered and we are in overdrive consoling her out of severe depression.
Celine debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and she has enormous devotion to offer you. Please be her hero and always keep her safely indoors, loved and cherished.

Why am I homeless when I did absolutely nothing wrong?
Mortie mesmerizes us with his human-like face and Teddy Bear lovability.
He is a noble, large Cream Tabby, neutered boy, young at heart at 11 years of age.
He is yet another innocent victim of the long-continuing home foreclosure crisis.
Please meet and adopt him at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).
Emily, a lovely Corgi, finds herself homeless at 12 years of age.
This 12-year old sweetheart is yet another victim of the economy and foreclosure crisis. Her previous owner relocated and believed she could no longer keep Emily.
Emily is an easy-going Corgi mix, spayed, housetrained, good with other small and calm dogs. She loves to be scratched gently behind her cute ears.
Please help us find Emily a loving, forever home. She is ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).
I don't want to ever know starvation again. Please.
A real estate agent found this petite, sweet girl in a foreclosed home. She was starving and emaciated, as no water or food was in sight.
We named her Sky and nursed her back to good health. She is now ready for share her devotion with someone worthy of her innocence and love.
Sky is a lovely dilute calico, now spayed, 3 years of age. Please ask for her by name in the Cat Condos.

I was devastated when they left me behind.
Laika was rescued from a vacant foreclosed home, in terrible condition, emaciated and dirty and desperate for reassurance.
We believe she had been there for weeks, trying to survive on her own without fresh food or clean water.
She is steadily regaining weight and we cleaned her up and had her ears flushed. She is lively again, and hopeful, and yearns for gentle companionship.
Laika is a petite, dainty brown tabby with white, spayed girl, about 4 years of age.
Please adopt her and cherish her every day, so that she never needs to fear being abandoned again.
When you visit Nevada SPCA's Cat Condo playrooms, please ask for Laika by name.

Our favorite toys are Teddy Bears.
| Sasha |
| Sampson |
Sasha and Sampson are noble Doberman Pinschers who needed us when their previous owner lost the family home to foreclosure.
They debut for adoption today and they can be adopted separately. Sasha is a girl of 6 years and Sampson is a chocolate boy of 5 years.
They are well-behaved and anxious to please. Not only are they reportedly good with kind children and dogs, but they are housetrained (with a doggie door) and crate-trained. Both love Teddy Bear toys and have at least mild fear of water (so we recommend having a variety of water bowls for them to choose from).
Both are also sensitive, very loving, and in need of lots of reassurance. Please only consider them if you have plenty of time and energy to shower them with attention.
Doberman Pinscher knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred for their adoptions.
