Adopt me for a lifetime of entertainment!

Kandi is an adorable little bundle of dynamite, a spunky baby girl with no shortage of energy and playfulness.

Kandi is an 8-month-old kitten with stunning tortoiseshell coloring and a cream nose blaze, spayed, good with other cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Kandi was rescued from the mean streets.  Please be committed to keeping her strictly indoors, safe and secure, as a cherished member of the family.

Please always keep me safely indoors where I will be loved and protected.

After being abandoned, Corky pleaded for food from house to house throughout his neighborhood, relying on the kindness of strangers to stay alive.

Now, this handsome, distinguished boy is safe with us and never having to worry whether he will miss a meal.

Pet'ographique captured his sweet spirit wonderfully in this brand new portrait.

Corky is neutered, about 8 years of age, great with other cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Newborn kittens urgently need a foster parent, please!

Update: These babies are now in a loving foster home receiving care.

Urgent request for help!  These four kittens need a foster home today.  They are just four weeks of age and still need bottle-feeding.  If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm and ask for Janean.

These sweet babies were rescued from a cardboard box by an apartment complex dumpster, and believe it or not, the person who dumped them had written a sign on the box saying "God Bless".  Most fortunately, a compassionate person heard their cries before the trash truck arrived.

I belong indoors only, please.

Omar Shariff had been abandoned at the airport parking lot.  He was so hungry and scared that he crawled right into the car of a Nevada SPCA volunteer with just a bit of coaxing.

He has been fattening up in a loving foster home and becoming socialized with other friendly cats.

Omar Shariff is now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is a sleek shorthair, neutered boy, 4 years of age.

Please be sure to ask for him by name.

Rachmaninoff

Rachmaninoff is an adorable Russian Dwarf Hamster ready for adoption.

He is as friendly as he is tiny, and you can handle him gently without fear of being bitten.

Rachmaninoff loves exercising in his wheel and napping in this plastic toy hut.

Please come meet and adopt Rachmaninoff in Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room.

At the time of rescue he had been abandoned in a cage.

Please never let anyone throw me away again.

Crystal relishes being held and comforted.

She is a docile girl who just wants to know she belongs in this world and that she is loved.

Crystal is a sandy brown tabby, about 5 years of age, spayed, and now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).

Crystal's left eye has natural, beautiful speckles that do not impair her vision.

We found her in an abandoned crate.

Please let me always be with my mommy.

Priscilla and Rutherford are mother and son, affable and enthusiastic bunnies who need a loving, forever home together.

They were rescued from a box, abandoned in some shrubbery in a schoolyard.

Both are now spayed/neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA in the Lovebugs Room. Priscilla is the black-and-white English Spot mix, under 2 years of age. Her son, Rutherford, has a rich orange color and he is about 7 months of age.

Please visit and ask for them by name.

This beautiful portrait is courtesy of the compassionate people at Pet'ographique.

Sammie Lee, the expert cuddler.

Sammie Lee is a junior kitten who loves to cuddle, both with people and other cats.

He is a handsome brown tabby with white, about 8 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Please kitten-proof your home for Sammie Lee's safety and protection.

At the time of rescue he had been thrown away into someone's backyard.

John Wayne's life was saved by Chihuahuas.

John Wayne could hardly be any cuter.  He is a sweet, young calico guinea pig, about 18 months of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Please ask for John Wayne by name in our Lovebugs Room.

He had apparently been abandoned outdoors and crawled into a backyard where a man noticed his Chihuahuas circling and wrangling him.  The dogs did not hurt him, and instead effectively saved his life, as he stood no chance of survival outdoors alone.

Donald Duck for adoption.

Donald was devoted to his previous owners, and he is understandably distraught to lose them (when they moved and did not take him).

But Donald is warming to us a bit more each day and he is ready to join a new family where he will never have to worry about being homeless again.

Donald is a handsome duck and he needs people to survive, as he cannot fly (his wings are clipped) and relies on people for companionship and food.

If you are knowledgeable about ducks and would like to meet Donald and consider adopting him, please ask for him by name at Nevada SPCA.

The Kisses Galore Puppies debut for adoption!

Baby Moon

Bailey

Dasani

Lovely Arrow

Margarite
The Kisses Galore Puppies are affectionate babies who delight in cuddling and showering you with puppy kisses.

They are Bully mixes, spayed/neutered, 3 months of age, expected to grow to medium size, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

They were rescued from a cardboard box abandoned behind a pet store.

The boys are Baby Moon and Bailey.  The girls are Dasani, Lovely Arrow, and Margarite.

Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

"The Magnificent Seven" kittens debut for adoption today!

Alexander

Alfie

Alice

Allie

Amanda

Andy

Annabelle
These seven baby angels were among a group of 14 felines we rescued from a large stack of milk crates that had been abandoned on a sidewalk.  Many of the cats and kittens had escaped the crude enclosures and were running the streets.  Staff and volunteers teamed up and caught them before further harm could come their way.

We nicknamed them "The Magnificent Seven" and they are brothers Alexander, Alfie, and Andy, and sisters Alice, Allie, Amanda, and Annabelle.  They are darling, good-natured grey tabbies with hazel eyes, spayed/neutered, 4 months of age.

The kittens can be adopted individually, but please consider adopting a pair for lifetime companionship.

Please carefully kitten-proof your home for their safety and protection.

"The Cuddlebug Kittens" are now ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

Camo

General

Gunner

Sarge
Camo, a calico baby girl, and her three orange tabby brothers -- General, Gunner, and Sarge -- are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

These 4 angels were rescued from an abandoned home. Please come meet and adopt them at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).

I am a kitten with a lifetime of love and devotion to share with you.

Victoria is a very enchanting, gorgeous kitten now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

She is a grey medium-hair tabby, spayed girl, 5 months of age.  She was rescued from a housing complex where she had been abandoned.

She may be best as the only cat in the home so she can have you all to herself.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these stunning portraits of Victoria and for their 5th Annual Pet Portrait Fundraiser through July (details at www.nevadaspca.org)

It's never too late to finally know love. Adopt me, please.

Naturally tuxedo-clad, Cheerio is handsome and debonair, and relishing loving attention, perhaps for the first time in his life.

Abandoned in a box outside, a Nevada SPCA volunteer found him, and his condition indicated years of severe neglect.

His ear infections are now healed, but his ears will remain curled for the rest of his life.

Despite his past, Cheerio believes in people and yearns for comfort and reassurance. He is a 10-year-old feline, though young at heart, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these exceptional portraits of Cheerio to help him get adopted.

Will a loving, nurturing foster mom please help me and my other baby siblings?

Miranda
Miranda and her 7 siblings need a foster home. They are about 5 weeks of age. A man threw a box in our lobby and then ran to his car, so we have no background on them or what happened to their momma. They were terrified, but we have been comforting them.

Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Lara before 4pm if you can help these babies with nurturing care for a few weeks until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and then adopted. Thank you.

How do I find a loving, forever home?

Paddy is a warm, engaging, inquisitive youngster ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

He is a chocolate American rabbit, neutered boy, 18 months of age.

Paddy was rescued from the mean streets, after being abandoned there to fend for himself.  He is now though safely with us, enjoying his daily salad greens (and plenty of Timothy hay) and human companionship so that his past hunger and loneliness are just fading memories.

Please ask for Paddy by name in the Lovebugs Room.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for donating this stunning portrait of Paddy to help him get adopted.

I don't want to ever know starvation again. Please.

A real estate agent found this petite, sweet girl in a foreclosed home.  She was starving and emaciated, as no water or food was in sight.

We named her Sky and nursed her back to good health.  She is now ready for share her devotion with someone worthy of her innocence and love.

Sky is a lovely dilute calico, now spayed, 3 years of age.  Please ask for her by name in the Cat Condos.

I will greet you every day with loving dances.

At the time of rescue Golden Girl and her newborn baby were alone on the mean streets, trying to survive.

We brought the two into our office for tender loving care and comfort.  Golden Girl was a terrific mama for her baby Theodore.  When it was time for him to be weaned, Theodore went into a foster home.

Golden Girl is now spayed and ready for adoption.  She is an intelligent, devoted small Terrier mix, about 3 years young.  She earned her name because of her sunny highlights throughout the black coat.

Golden Girl loves people with all of her heart and she is very social.  She also shows signs of housetraining.  She can get fussy with other dogs, but that could be her protective maternal instincts still.

Every time we come in the office she greets with a jubilant dance, standing upright on her hind legs, wiggling her entire body.

Please ask for Golden Girl by name when you visit.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this beautiful portrait to help her find a forever home.

We look to you for comfort, guidance, and protection.

Drago
Darleen
Drago and Darleen are loving kittens who yearn to connect with you and feel accepted.

They are brother and sister, 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and now ready for adoption.

Drago and Darleen can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

Drago is more on the mellow side and Darleen is more cuddly.

Please carefully kitten-proof your home for their safety and protection.

These angels were rescued from an abandoned house, along with four other cats.  All survived, fortunately.
