Elvis, a handsome Bloodhound debuting for adoption.

Elvis is gentle, calm-natured, and well-behaved, a humble older boy who hopes love will come around for him again so that he can spend his final years with dignity and grace.

Elvis is a noble, handsome Bloodhound, about 8 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

His previous owner surrendered him to us because he said he had "no space" for Elvis.

The Neil Diamond Girls are ready for adoption into a loving, forever home.

Cracklin' Rosie
Sweet Caroline
Cracklin' Rosie & Sweet Caroline are quiet-natured, gorgeous girls with amiable personalities.

They are very timid and we have to carry them from room to room.  They are gentle and just need to build confidence and self-esteem with socialization in a stable, patient home.

Their previous owner was battling a terminal illness the past several years and could not give them the care and attention they needed.  So they will need kind guidance to help adjust to a new home.

Cracklin' Rosie is a German Shepherd and Sweet Caroline is a Belgian Shepherd.  Both girls are spayed and about 8 years of age.

Please help us find a hero to adopt the pair and help them reach their full loving potential.

Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter has been awaiting this special day for months -- her debut for adoption! -- while healing from severe wounds on her back and side from dog attacks.

The veterinarian who confiscated her from an abysmal situation said that there were numerous other dogs in the home who had repeatedly attacked her.

Peanut Butter is a lovely, friendly little lady, a Beagle, spayed, 6 years of age.

Please come meet and adopt her at Nevada SPCA.

Rebel, sweetheart Bull Terrier for adoption.

Rebel is a handsome Bull Terrier with a gentle heart and he yearns to feel loved and safe.  He cannot understand why he became homeless when he did nothing wrong.

Rebel is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained, loves to play with tennis balls, and enjoys cuddling.

He is 4 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Rebel is very shy and insecure with new people, so an experienced home is needed, where he is the only pet in the home (though he reportedly may tolerate some large female dogs).

Booster, a White German Shepherd for adoption.

Booster is a majestic, good-natured, handsome older boy with a very pleasant personality.

He is a White German Shepherd, neutered boy, about 9 years of age, housetrained, and fine with most dogs.  German Shepherd knowledge is strongly preferred for his adoption.

Booster needed us when his previous owner passed away.

Please help us find someone to adopt and cherish this wonderful boy.

Chi Chi, as cute as a baby fox.

Chi Chi has stolen our hearts!  She is dazzlingly sweet, playful, and engaging, with a light-hearted personality.

She is a petite, beautiful Shiba Inu, just 1 year of age, spayed, crate-trained, good with dogs and older kids, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Chi Chi needed us when her previous owner moved out of the country.

Jaguar lost his home why??

Jaguar is an enchanting, sweet, lovable young Pug debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Unbelievably, he was rejected by his previous owner for "masturbating". And instead of getting him neutered, he was surrendered to us.

Jaguar deserves better, certainly. We had him neutered and we want to find a loving, forever home for him, ideally with an owner who has knowledge about Pugs.

Jaguar is 3 years of age and good with other dogs.

Fred & Max

Fred
Max and Fred
We rescued these two heavenly boys from another shelter.  Fred and Max are both regal, radiant German Shepherds, neutered, about 8 years of age.  They had landed in a government-funded shelter when their previous owners reportedly lost the family home to foreclosure.

Both boys are now safe.  Fred is debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Because they adore each other so much, we wanted to keep them together forever.  But Max has a torn ACL and we are having advanced medical care provided to save his leg, courtesy of a wonderful and very generous donor.

Perhaps the boys will be reunited again when Max has made a full recovery from his surgery.  We will urge whoever adopts Fred to try and keep an open mind on this.

Kierra, a gorgeous Bengal for adoption.

Kierra would love to become your very own little diva.

Like many Bengals, she is high-maintenance in terms of being needy and chatty, but her gentle and affectionate nature is beyond question.

Kierra is a gorgeous Bengal, about 5 years of age, spayed, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
Please be sure to ask for Kierra by name when you visit.

She needed us when her previous owners had a baby and thought she was jealous of the baby.

Kane is a handsome young German Shepherd with unconditional devotion.

Kane is a loyal, intelligent, noble young boy who needs a new owner knowledgeable about German Shepherds.

He is just 3 years of age, neutered, housetrained, crate-trained, and reportedly fine with some dogs and older kids, and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Kane's previous owner died and he reportedly was then taken by a neighbor, but then surrendered to us because he is "too big".

Kane likes to play with plastic bottles (without lids) and he is reportedly protective against strangers, so an experienced home is required.

Please help us find Kane a lifelong, loving home.

Emma, super sweet Labrador Retriever puppy.

Emma is an exceptionally sweet and flirty baby girl who melts our hearts with her facial expressions.

She is a Labrador Retriever puppy, spayed, 7 months of age, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Emma needed us because one of her previous owners was highly allergic to her.

Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection.

Brutus - young Standard Poodle debuting for adoption.

Brutus is a very handsome, young Standard Poodle debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

He is sensitive, and shy with new people, but loving and warm-hearted with those he knows and trusts.

A gentle home with someone knowledgeable about Standard Poodles is ideal.

Brutus is 1 year of age, housetrained and crate-trained, neutered, fine with some dogs, and he needs regular professional grooming care.

Please ask for Brutus by name when you visit.

Casey, a Yorkshire Terrier who needs a loving, forever home.

Casey is a bubbly, light-hearted little angel debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

She is a Yorkshire Terrier, spayed girl, 4 years of age, and great with other dogs.

Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming care.

Mademoiselle Ahiti needs a hero.

Mademoiselle Ahiti only understands French, so we have had a volunteer visit her daily and speak French to her and console her broken heart.  Mademoiselle Ahiti's previous owners returned to France.

She is a soulful Rottweiler with a beautiful spirit, spayed girl, about 6 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

She delights in resting and relaxing, and requires a daily joint supplement and pain regiment for hip dysplasia.  Please help us find a hero to adopt her and welcome her into a world of love and comfort.

Spartacus, a Boston Terrier for adoption.

Spartacus promises you a lifetime of love and entertainment, and certainly no dull moments.  He is a zany, frisky, lively young Boston Terrier debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Spartacus is a handsome boy, neutered, 2 years of age, housetrained and crate-trained, and reportedly fine with cats, but not compatible with other dogs.

Boston Terrier knowledge is preferred for his adoption.

Coco, a handsome Basset Hound who yearns for a hero.

Coco is an inquisitive, very lovable boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

He is a handsome Basset Hound, neutered, approximately 7 years of age, and he enjoys other friendly dogs.

Please note that Coco needs a daily digestive aid (a pancreatic enzyme concentrate) due to pancreatic insufficiency.  His medications though are a small price to pay in comparison to the universe of unconditional love he his ready to offer you in exchange for a forever home.

Rusty, a handome Rottweiler ready to add joy to your life.

Rusty loves to shake paws.

He is a social, engaging youngster who wants and needs to be around people.  But his previous owner got him through one of those anonymous classifed ad web sites and was trying to turn him into a "guard dog".

We are committed to finding Rusty a loving home where he will be valued as a companion and family member and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Rusty is a handsome Rottweiler, neutered, 3 years of age.

M & M, a baby Great Dane debuting for adoption.

M & M is a baby Great Dane, sweet as candy, very lovable, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He is about 6 months of age, neutered, and growing to very large size.

His previous owner purchased him from a pet store but quickly became overwhelmed with his energy level and surrendered him to Nevada SPCA two days later.

M & M needs an experienced, knowledgeable home and kind guidance to learn to adjust to a home environment.

They say I am sweeter than a dozen roses.

Bonnie Ray is at her most content when she is being held and adored.

She is a Miniature Pinscher with a lovely spirit, spayed girl, approximately 4 years of age, and she gets along well with other dogs.

Her beautiful portrait is courtesy of Pet'ographique to help her get adopted.

Bonnie Ray needed us because her previous owner erroneously thought she was a "mixed breed" and the person wanted a "pure breed".

I am a sunny Beagle with a puppy-like temperament.

Autumn is a sunny, cheery girl with a ready smile.

She is a beautiful tri-color Beagle, spayed, 4 years of age.

Though mostly puppy-like in temperament, Autumn is serious about food. Perhaps due to previous starvation, she has food aggression from fear of going hungry. This behavior can diminish with time and patience in an experienced, adult-only home.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these amazing portraits to help get Autumn adopted into a loving, forever home.
