Mommy Moments: New Stuff

I have not been active on Mommy Moments because of "katam". But here I am trying as much as possible to stay up to date with ya'll mommies. For the new stuff theme this week, here's my share:

Andrea had so many new stuff... just little things. But of all that she got this became her favorite which was a surprise since she doesn't like dolls. I guess this is kinda interesting for her because the baby talks and eats banana and ask for juice too.

Have a wonderful weekend mommy friends and bloggers alike.

Mommy Moments: A Perfect Christmas

Christmas is always special to me as it is the time for family. Growing up we don't have a lot but during Christmas our table is overflowing with food even if it means just the simple banana, sweet potatoes, rice cakes, wrapped sticky rice and all those local favorites. Over the years, as my siblings and I were working in Manila, most often than not, we still come home to celebrate Christmas. The food improved and there were small gifts and we all have fun after midnight mass. We stay up as late as we can. In the Christmas day we will expect Christmas carolers. We often serve snacks to them too. For the past 7 years (not so sure), we have a little pledge on our church every Christmas. It is a family thing.

This is my 5th American Christmas. As much as possible we make our Christmas for our whole family fun and memorable. Although I don't have the traditional Filipino Christmas, we have our little Christmas celebration too.

Every year, we go to Mom Lori and Dan's place to open gifts from Santa. Santa's gifts are under Nana's tree. We have a family lunch/dinner together and spend the day bonding with the family.

From my whole family, A Blessed Christmas to one and All!

Mommy Moments: Christmas Tree

Andrea had so much fun when she helped me put up our Christmas tree. Our tree has been up for a while now, but to this day she still enjoys it. When she wakes up she wants the Christmas tree lights to be on and she never forgets to ask me to turn it off when it's nap time or when it's sleeping time.
This is Andrea's own Christmas tree in her room. This is her Christmas apple tree.

Mommy Moments: Favorite Color

Sorry for the lat post peeps... I just happen to be lazy today!

Anyway, talking about favorite color. Let's see. As of the moment, my answer to this is UNDECIDED. You see, Andrea likes every color. And because I am her mom, I think whatever color she wears, she looks fantastic. She has a lot of pink color clothes and toys because it is normal for girls. But to pinpoint what's her fave color is very hard to do. I guess I have to wait and see until she can tell me.

Anyway, for now, we just assume that she likes pink...

She got toys and more toys in pink....

Mommy Moments: Before and After

BEFORE... when Andrea was just old enough to crawl

AFTER... when all she wants is to climb on everything...
Sometimes I wonder where did the days and months went... I can't seem to fathom how big my daughter has become. It was as if yesterday that she was just so little who relies on me on everything. Now, she is a big girl with a mind of his own and seems to think that she can do things without my help anymore....

Mommy Moments: Blowing Bubbles

Andrea loves blowing bubbles. She loves to chase and pop them too. I know I have a lot of pictures of her with bubbles but I like these ones because it is a great bonding picture with her dad.

She is still very young here... now she knows how to do it by herself....

Mommy Moments: Hairstyles

Andrea has a long hair now. Ever since she was born we haven't cut her hair in the back. She used to have a bangs at one time but we decided to let it grow.

Mommy Moments: Snack Time

I am lucky that Andrea is not a picky eater. She eats all kinds of meat which is for her is always "chicken". Whether it is a steak, pork chop or bacon... they are all the same it is chicken! She eats rice in everything, she if filipino afterall! She eats a lot of fruits. She loves strawberry, apple, banana, watermelon, cantaloupe, and more. She eats and drinks a lot of yogurt too!

For her "unhealthy" treats...we give her ice cream, a few chocolates, and some cake...

This is a picture of Andrea eating some cheerios which she calls "Donuts"
