Felipe is a handsome kitten with a gentle spirit and he craves attention.

Rescued from a hoarder, we believe another cat scratched his right eye.  The scarring is slowly reducing and he still has most vision in the eye.  A veterinarian who examined him believes the scarring may continue to diminish in size.

Felipe is a brown tabby, now 6 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Dr. Jamie, a cream tabby kitten now ready for adoption.

Dr. Jamie is lovingly named after the veterinarian who saved her life. 

At the time of rescue, this little angel had severe leg fractures (to her hind right leg) and she was very ill.  The fractures were consistent with her falling a very long drop, such as from a roof or tree. 

Dr. Jamie's leg could not be saved, and it had to be amputated.  But she made a full recovery from the illness, and with loving care she is making an admirable adjustment to life on three legs.

She is a cream tabby kitten, now 4-5 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Dr. Jamie loves gentle petting and holding, and purrs loudly in your arms.

Mac, an angelic, snow-white kitten for adoption.

Mac is a baby boy who loves people and cats. 

But his previous owner said that the family's other cat was too rough on Mac and would not accept him. 

Mac is a very playful snow-white kitten, about 8 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The small scar on the left side of his nose is presumably from a cat tussle or other minor injury.

Melody's amazing recovery & survival from an attempted beheading.

We are so proud of this baby girl, who we named Melody, and the foster mom who heroically helped save her.   

Melody delights in crawling up on your chest and nuzzling your face gently.  She is a sleek shorthair, now 5 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   

At the time of rescue, we thought someone had tried to behead her, as she had an enormous open wound around her entire neck.  She had a tight rubber band around her neck -- cruelty her veterinarian said was one of the worst he had ever seen. 

After we had the rubber band carefully and entirely removed at a veterinary hospital, Marcia, who was Melody’s foster mom, kept warm compresses on her neck and cleaned the wound twice daily.  Now, the blue stitches you see in the picture are Melody’s stitches from having the wound closed up.  She is healing beautifully and ready for a bright, loving future with someone who will cherish her every day and keep her safe.

Marcia and the other foster parents are heroes for animals.  They volunteer their time and talents to help those most in need, like Melody, and give them the tender loving care they need to be saved and to restore their faith in humans.

Belinda, an athletic kitten debuting for adoption today.

Belinda is a spunky, darling baby girl who has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home.  At the time of rescue she was just weeks old and motherless, in desperate need of a surrogate mom to give her nurturing care. 

Belinda is now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

The world is one giant jungle gym to Belinda and she is a terrific jumper, but please be sure to keep her always safely indoors for her safety and protection.  She would love a big cat tree!

Wonder Woman!

Wonder Woman is actually still a kitten of course, but she would love to become your very own superstar and grow to become a majestic adult.

She is a gorgeous, affectionate brown tabby, 3 months of age, spayed baby girl with a hearty purr, and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Wonder Woman's hero was her foster dad, who bottle fed her at all hours of the day and night after her rescue as a motherless newborn.

Foxy, a baby girl with a lifetime of love to share.

Foxy is an angelic purr baby -- her purring is so hearty for such a tiny kitten -- with unbearable adorableness! 

She has been lovingly raised in a foster home after being rescued as a motherless newborn. 

Now 3 months of age and spayed, Foxy debuts for adoption today on Christmas Eve at Nevada SPCA.

Porthos, The Yoga Kitty debuts for adoption.

Betty delights in investigating everything!

It is profoundly depressing that in 2011 the worst of humans are still drowning kittens. 

Cassie was heroically saved by a man who witnessed her and her sibling being thrown into a lake.  The rescuer was able to save Cassie, but her sibling could not be found.

Victoria is a very enchanting, gorgeous kitten now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

She is a grey medium-hair tabby, spayed girl, 5 months of age.  She was rescued from a housing complex where she had been abandoned.

She may be best as the only cat in the home so she can have you all to herself.

It was me or the Legos toys. I lost.

Sasha is a stunningly gorgeous kitten with an affectionate disposition.  She delights in cuddling and bonding.

She is a medium-hair Lynx Point Siamese mix with Caribbean-blue eyes.  She is spayed, 8 months of age, and ready for adoption today.

Her previous owner stuffed her into a box and dumped her outside our door.  The only reason given for her rejection -- believe it or not -- was because she tries to eat Legos toys.

The volunteer who found her wondered aloud: "Why didn't they just get rid of the Lego's and dump them in a nasty old box?"

Despite being treated like trash, Sasha is a tremendous treasure!  She has an ocean full of love to share with the fortunate person or couple who adopts her to join their family.

Veronica needed us when her previous owners moved out of the country.

She is a petite, sleek shorthair, young spayed girl just under a year of age.

Veronica is bouncy and athletic and enjoys cat naps on high perches.

Besides adoring people, she is friendly with other cats and respectful of their space.

Update: Lilly has been adopted!

Non-stop cuddling and playing is Lilly's aim.

She has a sweet, vigorous purr, and we find ourselves holding her belly by our ears to hear her rhythmic satisfaction every time she is held.

Lilly is still a kitten at about 8 months of age.  She is a Snowshoe and Siamese mix, spayed, and ready for adoption today in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms.

Lilly does well with other cats too.  Because she is so affectionate it would be ideal if the other cat in the household enjoys engaging other felines too in play and snuggles.

She needed us because her previous owners believed they were allergic to her.

Like all cats, she needs an indoor-only home for her safety and protection.
