Would Have Been Easy and Fast

I remember when I was still working in an office setting before, the human resource in-charge was on leave and I was assigned to handle the payroll and other accounting matters. Although before the in-charge went out for her leave, she taught me the basics of accounting and HR. Employee Benefits, issuing cheques and cash disbursements were all discussed to me, but still it was not easy, since I had no accounting background. But somehow, in the month that she was absent, I was able to do my duties.

Manually recording everything was a daunting task, I had to double check all the data I input to avoid mistakes and discrepancies. Even the pay cheques had to be printed manually and signed personally by our executive director before they were given to my co-employees. Friday Fill-Ins

And...here we go!

1. In the near darkness I can almost see the moon peeking.

2. I will be on "blog leave" til further notice (just joking!).

3. But this too, is part of life.

4. I can't wait to go fishing in the stream.

5. It's always nice to spend quality time with the family.

6. Good food, lots of laughter and pleasant company is always welcome.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to early rest, tomorrow my plans include rearranging our place after the workers will be done installing wood flooring and Sunday, I want to just relax and catch up with my blogging life!

At the time of rescue Golden Girl and her newborn baby were alone on the mean streets, trying to survive.

We brought the two into our office for tender loving care and comfort.  Golden Girl was a terrific mama for her baby Theodore.  When it was time for him to be weaned, Theodore went into a foster home. 

Golden Girl is now spayed and ready for adoption.  She is an intelligent, devoted small Terrier mix, about 3 years young.  She earned her name because of her sunny highlights throughout the black coat.

Golden Girl loves people with all of her heart and she is very social.  She also shows signs of housetraining.  She can get fussy with other dogs, but that could be her protective maternal instincts still.

Every time we come in the office she greets with a jubilant dance, standing upright on her hind legs, wiggling her entire body. 

Please ask for Golden Girl by name when you visit.
