Kicking me out of the family after 11 years? Why??

Little Bo Peep is understandably confused and distraught. 

She was a good girl for 11 years, yet her previous owner threw her away, refusing to fill out a personality profile to help her or even make a donation of one dollar toward her care.

We are working to comfort Bo Peep and reassure her that she is safe.  We are dedicated to finding a loving home for her so that she spends her final years being adored.

She is a lovely Pomeranian, spayed, seeking a calm, gentle home.

Please consider Bo Peep and the many other seniors who are homeless due to no fault of their own.  Rich emotional rewards come with adopting seniors.

'Twas my 32nd Birthday

I celebrated my 32nd birthday last April 2. I had a birthday party that lasted almost 24 hours (I am not kidding!). My party was last Friday that is the reason why I was silent in the online world.

Anyway, though I was not online much, I know my blog pals didn't forget my birthday. To all my friends who posted birthday greetings on their blogs, thank you so much. I appreciated your effort despite not commenting on it. Yes, I saw them and I am very thankful. Do I need to mention it? Nah... you know who you are. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Thank you also to all who left happy birthday comments on my blogs and the birthday blog posts of my friends' blogs.

To all my pals who took time to post a message on my FB wall thank you too. Of course, special thank you goes to my friends who sent gifts.

My birthday party was a success. It was really tiring but it was so much fun. It was worth not sleeping.

Camping Equipment

It’s summer vacation already in my hometown and the other night, my nephew and I talked about camping. He said that there is an outdoor camp that he’s very interested in joining. He mentioned that the camp will teach him a lot about self discipline and leadership. I could not say no to him because I know that he has the potentials of being a good leader in his class. But there is one problem. Camping Equipment is what he needs, he doesn’t have one right now and the camp is just a few weeks away. Since I love my nephew, I searched online for some camping equipment and luckily saw some affordable one. But shipping them would take a long time, so I am planning to just send him some money so that he’ll buy the equipment himself. I’m sure there is affordable camping stuff available, that way too, he can get to choose what he really needs for the upcoming camp.

Since I found a good place to buy camping equipment online, I think of buying a new one for us. We plan to make some camping trips this year that my daughter is old enough to enjoy it.

We look to you for comfort, guidance, and protection.

Darleen

Drago and Darleen are loving kittens who yearn to connect with you and feel accepted.

They are brother and sister, 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and now ready for adoption.

Drago and Darleen can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

Drago is more on the mellow side and Darleen is more cuddly.

Please carefully kitten-proof your home for their safety and protection.

These angels were rescued from an abandoned house, along with four other cats.  All survived, fortunately.

Smoochie is a charming boy who loves to give kisses.

We love his radiant personality and leonine appearance, made just that much more striking by his gold eyes and winning smile.

Smoochie is a Heinz 57, beautifully unique, a blend of many breeds.  He is neutered and about 3 years of age.

He is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained, good at playing ball, and compatible with cats and dogs and mature kids.

Smoochie needed rescue due to his previous owner's financial collapse.

Please ask for this outstanding by name when you visit so that you can spend some time with him in our adoption courtyard.

My Dream Kitchen

I have always wanted to have my dream house and of course, my dream kitchen in it. It will be a kitchen where I can cook good meals for my family, and at the same time, I can also entertain guests and friends when they come over. To help me plan for my dream kitchen, I look into home and kitchen magazines as resources, and from there I can draw the kitchen I’ve always dreamed of. My kitchen should have an island where I can place a small sink and an oven, with side cabinets and drawers so accessible, to place my kitchen utensils. On top of that island, I want to have an enclume pot rack where I can hang my pots and pans for easy access too. The enclume pot racks are one of my favorites because it’s very strong and durable. But aside from hanging enclume potracks, I would also like to have a free standing pot rack where I can place extra kitchen stuff.

I can almost see my dream kitchen coming to life. I have already cut out some pictures from magazines of what’s going to be in my kitchen, the appliances, the fixtures and just about almost everything that should be in my dream kitchen. Now all I have to do is work hard so that one of these days, my dream kitchen will come true.
